Pray for Cousin

Please pray for my cousin Debbie as she has undergone countless surgeries and has become VERY frustrated with the doctors not being able to properly diagnose and repair what is wrong with her over the years. She has more down time then up and is raising 2 small boys and her husband is away (out of the state) on business most of the time. For her to get to the point in life were she is crying out and asking for prayer means she is really discouraged and hurting. She trusts God, but asks for supernatural peace, healing, comfort and His guidance.

Please also pray for my cousin Kelly (and family) to be saved. Thanks you -D

Prayer Needed

For Friday @ 12:30- I/ We/ He could use prayer for an urgent matter. A man, who happens to be without a home, is in ICU in an induced coma at Blake. Was hit by a car and suffered many injuries of which he will have a long recovery for. He also is chained up by alcoholism to which he is presently sober as many days as he's been hospitalized. I am meeting my precious friend at Blake to go to him for prayer over his sleeping body. I would LOVE for you all to pray for the following:
(1) My mouth to say only what the Lord puts on my tongue to speak over this man.
(2) For the ground to be made fertile to plant a seed that takes root
(3) For the Lord to do a hell shaking redemption in this mans life to the point he will be set free from this addiction's root cause from this day forward so that the Father may be glorified and receive the full credit for this transformation AND that he have a personal encounter with Jesus
(4) Time... Time for the Lord to bring an abundance of love through His obedient followers to shower this broken (literally & spiritually) man with in a all the ways that will be needed.

Imagine waking up in ICU with NO ONE there... Can you even imagine the depressive thoughts? WOW, No one cares about me! I don't know about you but I almost choke on my own esophagus at the notion! I had a thought... let me know if you'd like to take part... I remember waking up in my ICU room with cards and pictures all over my walls. People that loved me had been sending them for the 8+ weeks I was in the coma. I remember many days sitting there looking at all those cards and my family pulling them off the wall to read them to me. I was overwhelmed with the love of people I knew and people I had never met taking the time to do this. What about everyone getting cards and writing notes of encouragement on them and mailing them to me and I'll get those babies hung up on his wall with a big bright sign facing him when those eyes open that reads, "LOVE KNOWS YOUR NAME!" If you want to share in bringing joy to a man who could really use the love & encouragement this is one simple way we could all do it. Feel free to let your children color pictures or even add a family photo in with your card.

Faith Needs Your Prayers

Faith has developed Pseudomonas. This is a very dangerous bacteria that in the lungs of a Cystic Fibrosis patient, can cause severe damage to the lungs. This was what we did not want her to get. We have two options, hospitalize her or try very aggressive treatments at home. As you can guess we chose the later. Please pray she takes to these new treatments and that it goes away from her in Jesus name and for whatever else the Lord lays on your heart. God Bless you & Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Keith is Back in the Hospital

We wanted everyone to know that Keith has begun his second round of chemo and is in Manatee Memorial Hospital, room #509. They are giving him chemo continuously for 7-11 days. He wanted to thank those who went up to visit him during his last stay and welcomes visitors once again to come and encourage him during this stay as well. Please continue to pray for him as this is very trying on his body. Pray for his doctors and the nurses who are caring for him. Wisdom, gentleness, concern and God's comfort, peace and strength.

Urgent Prayer

Please PRAY for Cassie’s (Cassie & Ernie) sister Nora who lives in Tennessee. She was rushed to the hospital with 3rd degree burns over half her body and it in critical condition! Pray for Gods supernatural peace, presence and healing both physically & spiritually, also that God would ease her pain.

Prayer for Kent

Kent has been on this prayer list several times in the past, and again his cancer has returned and he will be going in for more treatments and possibly another surgery. Another friend has stated that the prognosis is not great. Most important, please pray for his salvation, as I am not sure where his eternity stands. He has prayed the sinner's prayer, but not sure if his heart has been changed (I know his lifestyle had not a few months ago). I have spoken to him and counseled him many times in the past, but he feels his destiny is secure by saying the prayer (this is why I am so against making salvation so easy; Jesus sure didn't make it easy!) Kent needs to see the reality of hell and what happens in a lost state of eternity. Please pray that Jesus reveals Himself to Kent and his wife, Terri.

Good friend Barbara Oliver back in NJ her cancer has resurfaced and back in treatment. Her cancer is very aggressive type.

My neighbors Tim and Andrea 2yr son Anthony died 3 days before Christmas now their 4 year just taken moments ago to emergency room with seizure.

Kidnapped for Ransom

Greg Ock, (The nephew of a friend of ours),works in construction in (Nigeria?) Africa. He has been kidnapped for ransom. Two body guards were killed. His company cannot raise the money until Monday. Also, pray for his mom, Cheryl, and his wife, Teresa, and the family.

Please pray for Clara as she is in a lot of pain and having a hard time walking.
Please also pray for Richard as he is out of the Hospital and trying to heal.
Please pray for a couple who’s marriage is struggling. That they would learn to die to self and truly consider the precious needs of the other one higher than their own, for Jesus’s sake.
Please pray for those around us, to seek and follow Christ wholeheartedly, regardless of what others may think of them.

Salvation for Isabella

My dear friend Diane asks for prayer support as she plans to share the gospel with a co-worker named Isabella. While recently on vacation, Isabella with her husband & young son were spared in a serious car accident. In addition, they are in the process of traveling to adopt a little Russian boy. Knowing my friend's a Christian she's asked Diane for prayer for a safe trip. Diane wants to be able to share the gospel with her also.

Anne for Recovery after Surgery

Healing after Eye Surgery

Please pray for the son of the lady I take care of his name is Rob. He has cataract surgery before Christmas and at first all went well and he could see so much better. A couple days later he started having problems seeing in that eye and the doctor said it was because there was some bleeding. The bleeding is gone now but he still can't see and the doctors don't know why. Please pray for the Lord's mercy, healing and salvation. Thank you. Susan

We are praising God for the precious little girl He has blessed Sony & Anna Gatanis with this morning. Lexi Sophie Gatanis was their first gift from God. She was born at 4:36 this morning (her due date) weighing 7 1/2 lbs. Please pray for Anna as her body heals and for Lexi as she bonds with her new mommy & daddy. God’s Will for Little Boy

One of my relatives received a call from her niece who lives in another state. She told her aunt that she had gotten a text from her ex's new girlfriend, that said her son (dad has custody of the 2 yr old) was not being taken care of properly. Her aunt went to Highlands county, where the dad said she could keep him for 2 weeks. When she picked him up, the little boy had 2 black eyes and bruises everywhere. She drove straight to All Children's Hospital and had the little boy checked out. They made out a police report, which got DCF involved. They found another aunt of the dad's to take care of the little boy.. My relative is asking that the birth mom come down to Florida and fight for Jonathan, and then give guardianship to my relative.. Please pray that Jonathan will be placed in a safe environment and, if it is God's will, allow my relative here to take him in. Praise God that she dropped everything after she got the call and went to his rescue. Thank you for your prayers and thank our God for taking care of Jonathan.

Pamela’s Mom Passed Away

Please place Pamela Wells' mom, Joan, on the prayer list as she is in her final stage of cancer- She has been moved to Hospice in Ellenton for more intimate care- Pam does not feel her mom is a believer so please pray for her salvation and comfort in her final days- Also lift up Pam's son, Chad, as he is confused and will now be faced with losing his grandmother with whom he is very close- Finally, pray for Pam as she needs the strength which only the Lord can provide during this difficult time- Pam also needs Godly wisdom in dealing with Chad- Pam was a part of the Body of Refuge for several years before switching to Sarasota Calvary, which is much closer to her home.

Friend Jean (Cancer)

Elmer (Onset of Alzheimer’s)

Got to visit with a MCAT bus driver who shared that his father (Elmer), who was a minister & Christian college professor, has of necessity had to retire because of the onset of Alzheimer's. It was wonderful to be able to offer to him & his father that I could make a prayer request on their behalf at Refuge. Thank you for prayers that his father gets all the help & comfort he needs. Prayer for a Friend – Heart Attack

John and Mary Ann need our prayers as he had a heart attack and had no pulse or respiration when discovered. Mary Ann gave him CPR for 20 minutes. His heart was shocked by paramedics 3x and he was packed in ice and is now in ICU. (Mike & Martha)
