Praise And Prayer

Praise the Lord, I wanted to give you an update on my friend Vickie's daughter who we have been praying for who was told by her doctor that she only had two weeks to decide about aborting her baby because they said the baby's bowel was outside the body and they assumed the heart was affected. Well, the bowel is not on the outside, his/her heart is fine and all the other organs are fine. They are saying the baby does have a defect called Gastro Schisis which is where the intestines are on the outside of the body. In this case on the side of the umbilical cord. They will be able to do surgery as soon as the baby is born to correct it. She is due on May 22 but they say the baby is really small so it may be June 2. The doctors plan on inducing. (I don't know why) Please continue to pray for peace for Lindsay and wisdom for her doctors and a miracle of healing for the baby, to the glory of God and the amazement of the doctors.
