Reaction To Medication

I am having a very bad reaction it seems to a new medication. I would like prayer that I would know whether or not this will pass, if I should stop taking it, etc. I am feeling pretty terrified actually. It is an anti-depressant and so I am concerned if this will level off or if this means the medicine is dangerous for me. I am trying to reach my doctor about it. Thank you. Christine

Praying for you! I’m a nurse and can tell you that if a medication makes you feel panicky or terrified, it is probably not a good match. I had a similar experience when someone tried to prescribe Effexor years ago. Depending on how long you’ve been taking it, stopping abruptly may make your symptoms worse. I’m not giving medical advice; definately ask your doctor but above all, know: THIS IS TEMPORARY. You are not crazy, just pray through it. Jesus will hear you and will get you through it. Nothing is too bog or too scary for Him. He is the answer to everything and I pray the Holy Spirit will give you gidance and discernment to know what steps to take next. Be blessed, be calm, and as Jesus told us so many times, “Don’t be afraid.” <3
