Preparing for Life’s Storms [Pt 1] (1 Peter 3:13-16)

There's a consistent and reoccurring theme in Bible as it relates to God's people and suffering that goes something like this. Life, more times than we like to admit, is marked with suffering. In this next section of Peter, God wants to prepare his people for the often common storms of life.

Liv’n the Good Life (1 Peter 3:8-12)

Peter exhorts us to raise the bar on relationships. Telling us in essence that a key to "Liv'n the Good Life" in Christ is to improve relationships with others. That's the epitome of "Lifestyle Evangelism".

Man on a Mission (1 Peter 3:7)

Continuing in the section of Peter's letter where he is challenging us to Lifestyle Evangelism in the home. Peter has some counsel for husbands. In short, he exhorts husbands to be a "Man on a Mission". That for sure will be a witness for Jesus.

Woman of Witness (1 Peter 3:1-6)

Much of our witness for Christ begins in the home. We are in that section of Peter's letter where he is challenging us to Lifestyle Evangelism. That is, being a witness for Jesus through Godly living. Here in the opening verses of 1 Peter 3, Peter instructs wives how they can be a "Woman of Witness."

Coming into Focus (Refuge Vision)

As a hand full of years have past since Jesus started gathering a church called Refuge to Bradenton, He has been increasingly setting a vision on the heart of those called to plant this church. This year more than ever the vision is "Coming into Focus."  In short, the vision is expressed in this simple phrase "Knowing Jesus! Making Jesus Known!"
