To all Prayer Warriors and all who will pray for this couple: Prayer is needed , for Joanne and Ken Reynolds: for Joanne’s healing (prayer without ceasing!) Pray not only as the Holy Spirit leads you, but please ask GOD to stay in close control of Joanne’s treatment, for GOD to speak to them personally about the treatment, for GOD to give them understanding, peaceful hearts, great patience, and to give them hope, in JESUS’ name. When we pray for our Sisters and Brothers, the Lord is Glorified, and I believe HE takes notice! Please join me, Warriors, and let the LORD know how much we love Joanne and Ken. Sometimes we don’t even know we’re tired, so we just keep on keeping on. Finally, God just picks us up and carries us for our own good because He knows we don’t have the strength to make it home....(Isaiah 46:4)

Light and Joy

“Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.” Psalm 97:11

What a precious and beautiful little psalm. Because God called me and I answered, I know this is for me! For He has made me righteous and upright in heart.

Sowing seeds and seeing them grow is a completely miraculous experience! That a plant can grow from such a tiny seed is amazing. And knowing that the Lord is sowing seeds of light and joy for me is even more miraculous and amazing. It takes my breath away to think about.

It is a promise of what He will grow and give to us if we let Him. I must make the choice to let Him cultivate these in my heart every day. That way, when it is time for the harvest, there will be so much to give away. For I have also learned that, when grown and cultivated correctly, the harvest can be so large as to be overwhelming! And, oh how I would love to have an overwhelming abundance of light and joy in me to give away to others!

Team Harvest, the Evangelism team at CCB, is in the process of developing a website that is being design for Non-Christians and those that aren’t quite sure if they are Christians.

It is called GetAnswersNow.org

The thought is this. To design a site where we can point Non-Christians when we are out street evangelizing. A place where they can go to get the truth in love about Jesus Christ and Christianity in the comfort of their own home. We are really excited about it and would encourage you to check it out and let us know how we can improve it. Our intention is to put this link everywhere. Teeshirts, custom tracts, maybe even bumper sticker.

Team Harvest is the Evangelism team at Calvary Bradenton. Their blog has really just one purpose. It is this: To provide a place where those with a desire to share their faith can come to encourge and equip each other for the work of the ministry. Namely… to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.

Their desire is to keep things simple here. No debates, no hype, just share the truth in love about how to share with others about Jesus Christ and Christianity.
