What’s the Bible have to say about church leadership? In short, the Bible teaches that God ordains two roles in the church to lead and care for the local church body. The pastor/elder oversees the spiritual aspects of the church while the deacon cares for the practical needs of the church.

I become His slave. That’s awesome. I am under new ownership and now want to serve a amazing master. That’s the heart of a Spirit-filled slave!

In this passage, the cross-it’s like tomorrow for Jesus. And because of His love for His followers, Jesus gives an amazing example of what it means to be great in His Kingdom as He washes His disciples feet. And as His disciples these 2000 years later, we will be blessed when we “Choose to Serve” as we follow in our masters footsteps!
Jesus told us that those who are "pure at heart", they will see God. That’s a promise from God to the Christian. Live a pure life, and I will reveal myself to you, says God. So the question the one who wants to see God must ask then is this. Am I living a pure life? If not, how can I – so that I see God?
