RefugeRefuge or a safe place into which to run is a universal need for all human beings. In the person of Jesus Christ, God has revealed Himself as the one and only immovable, unshakeable, impenetrable fortress in all creation where we run for refuge. In Him we find, forgiveness, mercy, salvation and blessing. We find safety!

Whether you’re a true born again believer in our Lord Jesus Christ, or a non believing religious church attendee, or even an atheist, chances are that at sometime in your life, you have heard this popular Psalm. However, we must also pay close attention, that this wonderfully encouraging psalm is only applicable to those who can honestly and personally say in their hearts, like David does in verse one… The Lord is MY Shepherd.
